This is a list of links I recommend for your studies:

1) The Space Show: This is almost obligatory. Start hearing those podcasts if you really want to have an advantage. Do not try to hear all of them since there are more than 1,400 programs. Start with the latest year on topics you like.

2) Encyclopedia Astronautica: A superb space database. I have used it for my thesis on the space launch services industry and for many assignments.

And some TV programs that will help you understand many of the concepts spoken in class:

Cosmos: One of the main reasons behind my passion for space (the other one is Lego). Although it is an old program, Carl Sagan does a wonderful job explaining the mysteries of the Universe.

The Universe: Personally I prefer Cosmos, but this series has amazing graphics, the latest information and knows how to reach the mass public. Many of my friends who aren’t space geeks tell me how much they enjoy this program.

From the Earth to the Moon: This TV-series is a piece of art. It does an incredible job telling the story of the American Space Race.

Mythbusters: Moon Hoax: If you work in the space industry you will be questioned on this topic. Although there are many links and books that explain why it isn’t a hoax, the Mythbusters do an excellent job debunking all the conspiracy theories!

Megastructures: Sea Launch: Launching a payload to space isn’t easy. It is a very complex operation where a very small error can compromise the mission. Watch this documentary if you want to know more about this industry (besides, it is quite probable that you will have a question related to this topic in one of the exams).
